The Irwin Estates Swimming Pool will open Saturday May 30, 2015 at 11 AM. We will be grilling hot dogs and serve chips and drinks for a modest donation. Come join us for free swimming day and buy your pool key. The new board has been working hard to pay off the overdue electric bill and to have funds to buy the county health permit and pay for professional pool service. We hope this year will be fun and enjoyable for all members and we need your help to keep our pool open. Cost for this year's pool key will be $150 and an adult member badge will be made. Please bring your badge when you bring your family and guests to swim. The pool rules are unchanged and will require an adult over 21 or parent with children at all times.
Our first fund raising yard sale is Friday Feb. 5th and Saturday Feb. 6th at the lot with the chain link fence across from the gas station at Irwin Rd. and Old Hwy 58. Times are 9 AM to 1 PM weather permitting. We will hold a second yard sale on March 5th and 6th if needed and same times and location. Please bring your donations, come help and/or come shop.
Due to ongoing issues with ants and bees in the picnic table area, I have moved all trash containers to the far east side of the pool area. Please leave them there for now so we can see if it helps with this problem. There is a broom close by to clean up your food spills so please keep our pool clean and tidy. Emptying all soda cans and drinks beforehand helps. Thanks for your help! I am a volunteer trying to keep this pool going and not a janitor.

ReplyDeleteSwimming Pool Hours are 9 AM to 9 PM for this last week the pool is open. The lock will be changed next week and pool maintenance will be done.
ReplyDeleteWe Thank Everyone who donated, shopped and financially supported our last weekend yard sale! We fell short of our goal, but it was too hot outside. We have one more yard sale planned for Oct. 2-3rd, same location to raise funds for property taxes and our last utility bills.
